Palm Beach State College’s first-ever Panther Country Live concert brought the community together on Sept. 6 for an evening of live music, food, and family fun, drawing more than 200 attendees to the Palm Beach Gardens campus amphitheater.

The free, all-ages country music concert, presented in partnership with New Country 103.1 FM, featured Homegrown, The Zac Brown Band Experience as the headliner. Known for their high-energy performances, the tribute band had the crowd on their feet singing and dancing throughout the show.

Radio personality Moriah Daniels of New Country 103.1 hosted the event, adding to the lively atmosphere and connecting with concertgoers. Families, students, faculty, and community members turned out with lawn chairs, blankets, and cowboy hats for an authentic country night under the stars.

Palm Beach State leaders praised the turnout and spirit of the inaugural Panther Country Live.  “This inaugural concert was a celebration of both music and community,” said Dr. Stephen Joyner, provost of PBSC’s Palm Beach Gardens campus.  “We enjoyed bringing the community onto our campus for a great night out.”

The crowds jumped to their feet and ran to the stage when the band ended their set with Zac Brown's popular "Chicken Fried" before giving in to attendees cries for an encore.
