PBSC Beach Volleyball team wins fourth consecutive NJCAA national title
The Palm Beach State College women’s beach volleyball team captured its fourth consecutive NJCAA Beach Volleyball Championship on Saturday, May 2, in Huntsville, Ala. continuing one of the most dominant championship runs in junior college athletics. The Panthers completed the title run by defeating Lake-Sumter State in the final. The team was led by Coach Drew Colvin.
Leading up to the championship match, Palm Beach State nearly went undefeated in the national tournament with a record of 18-1. The Panthers remained the number one seed all tournament long.
Freshmen standouts Gunda Brazaite and Chloe Sumich delivered a remarkable showing and were named Pair of the Tournament, highlighting the team’s depth and the bright future ahead.
Leading the Panthers’ continued success, Colvin was recognized as Coach of the Tournament, a testament to his leadership and the culture of excellence he has built within the program.
The championship adds another milestone to a program that has built a sustained winning tradition on the sand. Palm Beach State’s latest victory extends its national title streak and underscores the Panthers’ consistency at the highest level of junior college beach volleyball.
