Palm Beach State College highlights TBC Corporation scholarship impact, recognizes company as a Panther Partner
Palm Beach State College (PBSC) recognized TBC Corporation and CEO Don Byrd as a Panther
Partner during the College’s Student Awards Ceremony on April 17, celebrating a growing
partnership centered on student success, workforce development and scholarship support.
As part of the event, TBC Corporation awarded five $3,000 scholarships to PBSC students
for the 2026–2027 academic year, marking the second consecutive year the company has
invested in helping students advance their education. The scholarships support students
enrolled in Associate in Science programs as they continue into bachelor’s degree
pathways, as well as Bachelor of Applied Science students working to complete their
degrees.
This year’s scholarship recipients are:
- Emmanuel Jean, Business Administration and Management (AS)
- Jade White, Supervision and Management (BAS)
- Nestor Palomino Espinoza, Business Administration and Management (AS)
- Juan Fernando Salaverria Hill, Supervision and Management (BAS)
- Maria K. De La Paz Guerra, Supervision and Management (BAS)

for our students to achieve their academic and career goals,” said PBSC President
Ava L. Parker, J.D. “Their continued investment in scholarships and workforce development
reflects a deep commitment to student success and the economic vitality of our community.”
TBC Corporation is one of PBSC’s primary education partners for incumbent workforce
upskilling and plays an active role in supporting the College through advisory council
participation, guest speaking and ongoing engagement with academic programs. The company’s
support helps ensure students are prepared with the skills needed to succeed in today’s
workforce.
