West Boca Medical Center was recently recognized as a PBSC Panther Partner. The hospital received the award during a ceremony held on April 28 and attended by representatives from both organizations.

The recognition honors West Boca Medical Center’s commitment to advancing education, workforce development and community engagement, as well as its impact on preparing students for future careers.

“Our partnership with West Boca Medical Center reflects a shared commitment to student success, workforce innovation and community impact. Their dedication to providing real-world learning opportunities helps ensure our students are well prepared to enter the healthcare field and make an immediate difference,” said PBSC President Ava L. Parker, J.D.

Through its partnership with the College, West Boca Medical Center has provided PBSC Health Science students with valuable clinical training opportunities and hands-on experience in a real-world healthcare setting. By serving as a clinical site, the medical center helps students apply classroom learning in patient-care environments while building the practical skills, professionalism and confidence needed for successful healthcare careers.

“Partnering with institutions like Palm Beach State College is central to how we build for the future,” said Jerad Hanlon, CEO, West Boca Medical Center. “By expanding our relationship, we are helping fill critical jobs with highly trained, locally educated professionals who are ready to serve this community.”

Through the Panther Partner program Palm Beach State College recognizes Palm Beach County’s top companies dedicated to student success and advancing workforce innovation and community impact.
