PBSC wins 2024 Best Desktop Portal Appademy Award from Modolabs

 

Palm Beach State College has won the 2024 Best Desktop Portal Appademy Award from Modolabs for our newly redesigned MyPBSC portal.

The Appademy Awards recognizes the innovativeness and creativity of campuses using the Modo platform and reveals how higher education institutions are expanding and enhancing their mobile apps and web portals to be more useful and appealing to students.

PBSC was one of nine finalists chosen from a pool of more than 100 universities and colleges across the country. Modo’s juried panel of technology, design, and user experience professionals reviewed and scored the portal for creativity, design, user experience, features/functionality, and performance.

Modo Labs, creator of the leading digital engagement platform for higher education and enterprise, published the winning schools. The juried event honors colleges and universities that have built exemplary digital experiences in mobile apps built with Modo Campus, Modo’s student engagement platform.

PBSC’s new portal was launched in September 2024. In its first week, it had 350,000 page views compared to about 900,000 views per month.
