Palm Beach State College architecture students recently gained a rare behind-the-scenes look at one of South Florida’s most dynamic urban development projects during an exclusive professional site visit to Related Ross in downtown West Palm Beach. The visit offered firsthand exposure to how large-scale design, real-estate innovation, and community building intersect to shape the city’s future skyline.
Palm Beach State College associate professor and Chair of the Fire Science Department Sean Parr recently presented new research at the Transportation Research Board’s (TRB) 105th Annual Meeting, held Jan. 11–15, 2026, in Washington, D.C.
Stacy Plean, a broker associate with LoKation Real Estate and the founder of The HomeSeeker Group, has been appointed by Gov. Ron DeSantis to serve on the Palm Beach State College District Board of Trustees. She will attend her first District Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026. Plean’s appointment is subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
